security experts from across Canada – both in the public and private
sector – attended Technicity Nov. 23 to discuss the big picture view of protecting our digital assets in the 21st century.
In addition, Tobok discussed current customer concerns heard on a
daily basis by Telus. Data sovereignty is just one of those issues, as
more Canadian organizations looking to keep data within the Canadian
jurisdiction. “The moment it leaves our borders, we lose control, it’s
as simple as that,” Tobok says.
